So this particular sketch just kind of happened, I was quite pleased with how it came out as far a simple design. Assault on the Summit, was the feeling I was going for and at the same time trying to find the simplicity in it.

I really had fun creating this particular concept comic title page for Teacher and Odie series. Its based on an alien that gets trapped on earth and befriends a Great Dane named Odie.

I was asked to do a quick illustration for a talk, I thought it by itself pretty much says it. Simple is always best.

So, for those who don't know me, I am a big Classic Monster fan, especially the Universal Studio days between 1940-1980. They did their best work. So for fun I did a reproduction of the scene from the movie. Good page for coloring.
