Out of the wind yesterday it was such a lovely day on Mendip, we didn't walk that far but it was so nice to just sit in the sun after such a grey winter.

Its pretty un-user friendly to wade through and comment, but due to gov targets they are having to identify extra sites for potential housing. Nailsea and Backwell badly effected and many of the fields by Weston Big wood :(

Moel-Y-Gest only 262m high, but packs a punch, the only small hill I've had to abort an ascent, descend to the bottom and start again! Beautiful far reaching views and small rock scrambles.

Impromptu visit to the sea this afternoon where we sat and listened to Curlew. Nice to have some sunshine as its felt like a really grey winter.

She has found it really relaxing, she started learning when she went to uni and think it's helped. One of her latest makes was a blanket. I can't knit or crochet! #MadSkyChat
