Norwegian coast. I took the photo way back in the summer, but I think it still perfectly captures the current season. Days are short, everything is gloomy and wet. But despite it's seeming darkness and hostility, it can also be a very beautiful time of the year.

This is a regular Norway spruce. The kind you find anywhere across Europe. There is not much that distinguishes it from all the other ones. But I keep thinking about this spruce specifically. Because it doesn't exist anymore. It has been cut down. And the landscape just doesn't feel the same.
