While hiking a trail next to a large marsh/lagoon in hopes of spotting warblers, I once again interrupted somebody's breakfast. This muskrat kept nibbling for a while, and then we both moved on with our day. Cheerio.

It takes 5 years for a bald eagle's white plumage to fully develop - so it's not uncommon to come across juvenile individuals during fall migration. Such was the case at Long Point this day. Very happy to have a photo of this one! 🫶 #Birds #Birding #Nature #Hiking #Photography #Nikon #Outdoors
