I strained out the old blooms. They did not disintegrate and tasted like vinegar. I should have harvested the new flowers sooner but obviously I didn't. Added half again new white vinegar to the new flowers in the old vinegar. BTW the old vinegar had a nice flavor.

No, the blossoms appear intact. I was thinking of straining them out and then adding fresh ones which are just now blooming....

What might happen if you leave them in the vinegar for two years instead? 🤔 Asking for a friend... 😁👋

Just today I had a black wasp meandering around our back deck planters. I took a bunch of photos to see if it was the same sub-species as those one. I think it's a different sub-species but it was interesting to compare. I'd add a picture here but it's on my phone. Anyway, thought you'd be amused.
