Solidarity is the best Decorum.
Sure you can link straight to it and it's listed in the sidebar when you go to "community resources" but it's the only category of care that's not listed in the drop-downs at the top..!!

this time
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Or whether we'll need to
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
We worry about getting ready for the "fight"
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
And rather than say that out loud
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
So for as long as many of us have steered clear of the radical action of relaying to others what their rights are, we've been unclear what ours are
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
And most citizens never get the memo because no one's ever shown up trying to take theirs away
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Most radical action is only trying to hold the line of what is within our rights in the first place
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Especially when most days of those deep sea divers are spent in the ideological shallows of letting people know their rights (with respect to the white supremacist police state we all know about)
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
How do we both encourage (bankroll, dammit) the exponentially fearless and dangerous actions that are true embodiments of an ideology we go swimming in every day?
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
What's holding us back from sharing the same spaces, intelligence, connections?
How do we on both sides recognize the Cultural Divide and start to build Cultural Ties?
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
I don't believe the Divide is Ideological (very much) at this point.
The Divide is Cultural.
The Divide is Shared Experience, even as so many share a version shared experience, as intersectionality reveals itself the hard and sometimes good way. We're So Fucking Close--and yet, what's the block?
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
You wish to grow? You need us ignorant well-meaning liberals. You want us, you want us and our numbers, our shared queerness and neurodivergence and occasional political boldness. You need our money (I'm told. Not mine, or most people I know.)
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
And Radicals, I hate to say it, but you have a part in this too, insomuch as you care about the state of those who think one is necessary--like, for one, you need to survive, and two, you need support.
You need more of you--which means you need more of us to be that.
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Stepping off the path to a better state to one of "no need for one" clarifies just what we're doing on that path, anyway, and what to look out for in the brush. Anarchy may not be the answer, but it has the answers.

We need more.
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
There is such antipathy between democrats and the left, the left and the far left, the far left and anarchy.
When there really shouldn't be.
And can't be.
If we want to stand a chance.
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
BUT who might not be there when the sun rises and the dust settles and the flashers turn off?
You guessed it (and I'm sorry to lump you in as a single entity, but I'm taking on the sorts of perspectives holding back most people.)
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Not JUST trying to save folks from it, but to work out the messy questions of the alternative, a world (however large) not in need of policing.
Because human needs are real, needs are expressed, needs are met. And we all need to not be killed.
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
The question shouldn't be "who will they come for next?" it should be "why are we looking to liberal society to save us from it (and not those trying to save us from it?)"
January 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Radicals.
