We loved visiting Trier, as you said there are so many historical monuments to see. It's lovely for its Christmas markets too.

Oh that sounds fun, Dresden is definitely on our list to visit, I’ll check out the Stollenfest.

Oh fantastic, I must admit I do think the markets in Germany are the best. We've visited quite a few, bur I think the most is five in one season.
