Medications won't make it all go away magicly but it helps you handle it better, at least that's how it's been for me

I have fluoxetine for my anxiety and so far I've liked it. I felt similarly to you where I found comfort in my struggle but I didn't realize what I wasn't able to do because of it. I feel more free and comfortable now. I still have my bad days but it does help me function better
