All the energy used to power lights and extra heating has to come from somewhere. The only place it can come from is the fuel tank. It’s simple physics.

I think they’re beginning to understand that they’re on the losing side, especially as they can’t help noticing that there are more EVs appearing on the roads every day. ‘Range’ is the last argument they cling onto, even though, as you say, EV drivers don’t worry about it.

I’ve had my EV since April this year. I’ve saved £2400, which is just under $3000 US dollars. At least as importantly though, it’s a nicer and more relaxing car to drive than any ICE car I’ve ever driven and at the age of 70, I’ve driven lots of ICE cars.
