Another great day of solar generation today 😀

So far in the first 7 days of April we’ve generated 151kWh 🤩

New March solar generation record today with 19.4kWh 🎉🥳🎉

This beats our previous highest ever March generation day of 19.1kWh on 30th March 2024.

We’re at 56kWh from the first 3 days of March. That’s 1/3rd of February’s total generation already!

Loving the March ☀️☀️☀️

What a difference between December and January. We’re already just 2kWh short of Decembers total.

It’s the best start to January ever. Hopefully the end of January will be as good as previous years.

At one of our favourite stop’s getting a top up whilst having breakfast 😍

I like the tethered cables on the AC chargers. Makes it much easier.

Temperatures dropped to 3.3C in our garage so the home batteries have fully cut out. It doesn’t look like it will warm up enough until Tuesday to reset them 🙁

Unlike last year it looks like the battery is still operating but the recharge power has dropped from the normal 1.5kW to just 0.5kW to protect the battery.

It seems to have met our power consumption so far this evening so it’s not fully failed like it did last year.

Once again a low temperature alarm has appeared on our home battery. It’s nearly a year to the day that this last happened.

The issue is that the temperature in our garage drops too low (currently 4.9C) for home batteries.

Wow….. the octopus tracker electricity price was high today!

Another good day of solar generation with 10.1kWh 😃

46kWh so far this month which is 55% more than this time last year,
but there is still a long way to go to match 2023 (179kWh) & 2024 (165kWh).

Nice to see East England in 3rd 😁

And above North Scotland which I’ve not seen before.

We’ve joined the @octopus.energy saving session today between 5pm-6pm.

We’re exporting from our home battery but at a lower rate than we did last year. This is to ensure we have plenty left over to cover our evening consumption.

Octopus Energy’s graph colours with the stand charge cost reminds me of Barratts nougat from the 1990’s.

We had a nice visit to GridServe’s new electric forecourt in Stevenage yesterday.

It was a nice place to take my wife to try out her first DC rapid charge.
