Last night we called and texted our members and supporters to raise funds to travel to NYC this November to get @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social across the finish line.
We were able to raise almost half of our goal in one day. Can you help us by chipping in $5, $10, or even $50 or more?!

We’re excited to announce that OCAB’s Endorsement Committee will hold its first meeting since we endorsed Sean Ryan for mayor this Thur., July 31st, at 6pm. The meeting will take place at the Liberated Wellness Center, located at 393 Delaware Ave.

Buffalo Common Council Majority Leader Halton-Pope submitted a resolution last wk calling for an independent "civilian oversight entity" with SUBPOENA power, a budget, and a mandate to investigate allegations of misconduct, among other recommendations.

Council Chambers are empty. Not one representative from the Buffalo Police Department is in attendance at the Police Oversight Committee this morning. The Police Oversight Committee hasn't met since April and won't meet again until at least September.
