There is a new news service in Washington. Notus.org is a nonprofit, nonpartisan news operation produced by the Allbritton Journalism Institute. It has experienced journalists working with newcomers and the work is excellent. They have an interesting daily newsletter that you can get via email.

So far, my new BlueSky affiliation has attracted a number of followers. One promises cat pictures daily, another is fighting for Scottish separation, and a third is apparently proud of her enormous physical attributes and wants to share her copious bounty with others. Off to Block Island they go.

I just completed the Google Prompting Essentials course. This is a whole new opportunity for journalists, a group that knows how to write and express ideas. With so much media downsizing, you can see how prompting can be a new frontier for reporters and editors.

Had the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner this evening. How wonderful to get together with family and enjoy great food and conversation. There is just so much for which to be thankful.
