I went to recheck if I did turn it off after seeing your post and realised what Twitter is doing. It’s unfortunate to see what the app has descended to.

Whenever I check it, it appears turned on and then turns off on its own, though I turned it off from the very beginning. I can’t trust Twitter anymore.
