She adores Marc, but conversation flows differently with Steven. Both ~

~ to being, well, her husband in her heart.

Khonshu needs to let his avatars have a little happiness. Taweret manages to not monopolize all her time. Khonshu can figure it out, too.

“You already do, Steven. So much.”

He brought Marc back to her and gave /himself/ to her. They are similar in many ways, so he is her best friend in addition ~

“Oh definitely. Or at the very least /next/ to the Seine and under the moonlight.”

So long as Khonshu doesn’t consider that an invitation to crash their party.

“That sounds absolutely perfect to me.”

She leans in and kisses that sleepy smile.

“And then that trip to Paris we’ve been promising ourselves.”

“I love that you love it.”

Makes it quite fitting.

“You may not /remember/ the ceremony, but . . . I think we can fix that one day.”

Even if just in their living room.

She admittedly loves Steven snuggles — and even more so when Marc-enhanced.

“Sounds good to me. I like spending time with my husbands both.”

“Well, I will happily spend time with whoever is about.”
