The SEC at the John Radcliffe Hospital is one of our most significant projects over recent years, providing additional operating theatres to address waiting lists for complex routine procedures, meeting the demands of the growing population across the Thames Valley.

If you don’t know where to get support, contact NHS 111 who can provide advice and direct you to the best place for the care you need.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

If you come to our Emergency Departments with something minor, you may face long waits or be directed to other services such as your local pharmacy, Minor Injuries Unit, or GP.

We will prioritise patients who are in genuine need of emergency care. If you need urgent medical care, please seek help as usual, especially in emergencies and life-threatening conditions.

Every evening, the Butterfly Garden in the bereavement suite has been lit up, and families have been invited to share their messages.

Here at OUH, families are invited to display commemorative messages on trees of remembrance. These trees offer bereaved parents the opportunity to honour their baby in a simple, quiet way, and will effectively 'grow' as leaves are added.

Jackie Love, OMI's Head of Design and Marketing, won a Gold Award and a Silver Award, while Clinical Photographers Sid Neelson, Tom Capon and Amber-Leigh Jordan all won Bronze Awards at the recent Institute of Medical Illustrators Awards.
