Stop it.

I love imagining her saying of the KJV "it's a book I've been reading". These people skim the first couple chapters of Genesis and just assume the rest is kinda like that. It's like my students who call everything longer than 30 pages "a novel".

If I were to ask your FRIEND what future liberals want, what would THEY say

I was an enormous fan for decades, but subscribing to his newsletter cured me of it. Just endless iterations of "feminism has gone too far" and "asking artists to be less racist is censorship, actually"

Anyone who believes people who say this must've been born yesterday. "Small government" = policing bathrooms and banning face masks. "Constitutional freedoms" = pepper-spraying a student holding a Palestine flag. "Family values" = making excuses for pedophiles. Just uncritical acceptance of slogans.

Fandom cookbooks FTW! We bought the FFXIV cookbook as sort of a joke since I'm an obsessive crafter in that game, but it turns out to be a legit incredible cookbook with several recipes we return to again and again. The cornbread and coffee biscuits slap!

A friend of mine calls anything that annoys her biphobic. "Hit my shin on that goddamn biphobic desk leg again"

This is me too. Life is way too short to entertain explainers-of-your-own-jokes, AI slop spreaders, people who think it's okay to body-shame/deadname bad people, debate fetishists, unfunny bores, and anybody else who does not spark joy. Block 'em all, no quarter. My timeline is great as a result!

When I applied for clerical jobs at a temp agency years ago, the interviewer asked what skill I have that's unique. I said "Latin" and he was like "I............... have not heard that before"

FOR REAL. CIBC called me weekly for about six months demanding my information "to confirm my identity". It turned out it was for something real and important, which I didn't know for sure until I went into a branch. Of course they're ALSO nagging you incessantly about not getting scammed!

I loved all the Adonis photos, but I also loved seeing all the thank-you letters from the food banks. It felt like they came from every state in the union!

It's possible, just annoying: go to the menu and hit Feeds, then Friends

These guys are scammers, as is anyone who claims they can get you into Canada easily. Immigration into Canada is brutal and only getting harder. (Sorry for sincereposting but I know this is tempting to a lot of our US friends right now.)
