For what it's worth, the idea sounds very good. I'm also a massive nerd about game mechanics, but there's definitely a very weird corner of the internet that has the same hobby, with some very stupid views 🤣

Honestly, couldn't have said it better myself.
I've gone on about how most people's hobbies are to consume rather than to create, but there's also the issue of people that consider media consumption "turn your brain off time". Their entire set of principles jumps out the window.
