all my friends are gonna leave me all my friends are far away maybe if I get to know them maybe they won't keep away all my friends are gonna leave me all my friends are too far to reach me all my friends do like each other maybe I'm the odd one all together but what if they knew me better? what if I start to stutter? what if they will hate me then? should I be the one to leave them? all my friends are gonna leave me all my friends are far away just a little crow in its own nest, of loneliness and discontent and every friend I make has an expiration they either die or fly away maybe I shouldn't overthink it maybe I'm just paranoid I'll just see it play til the end it can't be all that bad, like in my head either it will be a time well spent or a bitter end

I got caught up in the moment when the moment was gone I got feeling that healing but I'm pulling out bone the sun started rising and flowers did bloom I got feelings that I'm needing but hurting for home I got caught up in the moment but the moment is gone I was thinking that I'm sinking like an old ship that grown sat there waiting for the ferry but the ferry long have been gone was I foolish, even stupid not coming here soon

Empty Road [updated]
in the dead of night and trees of accolades, as cold wind blows, I walk beneath the stars of old. with nothing to guide but the scattered light, with nothing to hold but a shattered soul. each step digs into the sand, rooted in hate, or the triumph of man? each step burns, yet leaves no trace. each burn hurts, yet forth I pace. searching for a place to rest my weary head. either alive... or maybe dead. a broken clock that tells no time, its gears spin yet never align. in the dead of night and trees of accolades, as cold wind hums in familiar notes, like a song of old that was never told. plunge beyond what once was known, into depth of familiar unknown. in fright of dawn and day won't break, fragile things crack and break. in the dunes of the valley of man, pillars reach into the sky, like memories of days gone by. a dim night and a lonely road, lifting the world, can't lighten the load, wandering if there's another soul. limbs grown tired of the long pace, long lost the road without a trace. thoughts crawl out outside my head, tears fall out without an end. death begs to lead the way, rather stay a stray than give it all away.
