No, the other Ted Geier, not that one. Serial social change entrepreneur and player of games, music and softball. Writer of 20+ novels, several of them more than a page long.
Practical Demonkeeping is a wonderful gateway into the unique universe of @theauthorguy.bsky.social -- I recommend it OR "A Dirty Job" for someone looking to dive into the best possible literary rabbit hole.

Social media may end up destroying many lives the world, the universe. True. But that it allows us mere mortals to be flies on the wall for real time conversations about things that mater between folks like @theauthorguy.bsky.social and @themountaingoats.bsky.social offsets that a bit.

Just a plot by GEICO to hype announcement of new mascot. “The GEICO Ginko-Tooth will save you a whale of dough on our unbeakable insurance rates!” Probably.

Finished Anima Rising a moment ago with renewed appreciation of how, you like Dr F, pieced together and reanimated so many people and stories in your own remaking. Tawk about completely makin’ da story your own! A troubling joy to read. Sharing Geoff’s story with the malamute in apartment 6N.

100% sickened and furious, AND the others are all beautiful reminders of how much good there can be in people (and just about always is in dogs).

Wait, that’s not you in that stonograph?

Next you’re gonna disparage the unpopped kernels at the bottom of the popcorn bucket. When does the madness end?

Great catching up with you at Hildita event yesterday. Keep up the good fight, you’re making a difference.

A Toronto basketball joke could have worked here if anyone outside of Toronto knew who any of their players were. Meanwhile, will have to settle for the alliterative joy of “raptor smack talk.”

Finally diving into this book and it’s got me studying Viennese art and Shakespearean characters before even getting to page 40. The dog who turns out to be a badger graf was so brilliantly written in character that I laughed out loud, to the consternation of my many imaginary friends. Brilliant.
