I made the radio mini game/canvas so now you can fully interact with the radio and play music from it. All the music is done by me and i’m really excited to show everybody what I have made for it. Next thing I gotta add one of my games.

Started to write up the journal texts in my game which are gonna be used to be kind of a speaking point for myself as the narrator to the players. I’m just gonna deliver some thoughts of mine detailing my experience this final quarter at UC Davis.

Wasn’t sure if this was a little on the nose but the characters avatar is the US government lol. I didn’t want it to be so abstract that people did not get the meaning of it. also trying to add some blood splatter.

Ran into an issue where my character keeps spawning in at the wrong location. pretty sure it’s related to my spawn in code so I commented it out to see if I can fix it first.

I wanted to tell a somewhat political story so I’m focusing on US intervention policies in latin American countries. It’s gonna be simple meshed of flags and groups used to represent their history and the US’s involvment.

Flower Game is really interesting. It reminds me of ink art paintings from China with how deep the blacks get and how interestingly complex the layout can get. Also a little reminiscent of roschach ink blocks

You love the Color of the Sky was a really cool game that tasked me with creating galaxies. I still don’t know what the different colors do but they seemed to create different stars.

Shu was a really cool experiment with paint brushing and making an abstract art piece without directly telling us that we were making art.

BAGAI 10 minutes was really cool and trippy to play. It took me a while to understand what the different keys do to make the art pieces in the game and often it felt like I was making some piece of abstract and surreal art.

Diving-Bell was a very experimental game that used the gameplay mechanic of diving and holding space to show emotions and mental health. The further you dived the more you learned about the players mental Health problems.

While playing pongs I was mesmerized by the sheer number of pongs you could make with different combos of story and mechanics. My favorite one was ate pongs that used QTEs to work.

While playing Freedom Bridge I felt this uneasy dread as my character was crossing the barbed wire and bleeding more and more. It was like a journey that led nowhere and just ended in me dying. It was meant to recreate North Koreans feeling the country.

I started to make my script for the ball movement. At first the ball is going to be attached to the player object and then by pressing space you will send it flying. Gonna also try to figure out the scoreboard mechanic.

Managed to make all the blocks disappear from the game so it all fully works but I still need to find a way to implement a scoreboard to the game. Other than that it’s been a really fun learning experience!!

I decided for my game i’m going to make atari Breakout for on Unity. I initially wanted to do Space Invaders but that was going to be way to hard for me to do so Breakout will be simple to do.

ran into this bug where it keeps repeating one line over and over for infinity. I’m trying to fix the error but we are gonna have to see what happens to it.

I made some of the variables for the game. The main feature is a timer that is randomly selected from a range of 30-60seconds. The patLevel is the health you need to lower in order for the baby to calm down and go back to sleep.

I am working on a game in which you have to take care of a crying baby when it gets upset at the player. You use a baby doll and pat its back which has a controller stitched to it so you can calm the baby.

You are Jeff Bezos was a really interesting thought excitement on how to spend billionaire money to fix the world issues. It made me kind of baffled on how all the money being spent was a small dent to his wallet.

Aether Gameography was a really funny and surprisingly sweet game about the Sonic world. It was like a make your own adventure game with Sonic characters and made by a child.

Colossal Cave Adventure is really hard to play at times. it’s fun I just have so much environmental details that I need to remember when trying to navigate the world.

A Crows 3x game was a really wacky game that was almost reminding me of the game Battleblock theatre. The narrator had the same sarcastic and brashness’s.

Added this little piece of dialogue for the narrator that way they have a bit more dialogue going on and we can see what the intentions are for how they want to treat the player, they really wanna promote that gambling scene.
