Currently watching N0S4A2 and I'm torn... genuinely love the dark, nasty stuff. Zachary Quinto is bloody brilliant. Give me just Charlie Manx being cool-creepy 24/7. But damn... I cannot stand the main 'protagonist.' I enjoy flawed heroes, but damn girl - can you make even ONE good decision?!

Well, my obsession with Rise of the Ronin finally has come to temporary halt... 'cause, #GhostofYōtei arrived last night. This game is already stupidly gorgeous and cinematic. Will spend half my time in photo mode. Some nice storytelling tricks, and slowly warming to the combat (RONIN spoiled me 😅).

Well, my obsession with Rise of the Ronin finally has come to temporary halt... 'cause, #GhostofYōtei arrived last night. This game is already stupidly gorgeous and cinematic. Will spend half my time in photo mode. Some nice storytelling tricks, and slowly warming to the combat (RONIN spoiled me 😅).
So, for half my last session, I sat back while the players mused over the 'murder board' they'd assembled for the campaign. By the end of it, they were discussing if one of them should become the One True God or allow the world to descend into primordial chaos... these are the moments GMs live for 🤣

Interesting, they're doing another run? Thank you. I am lucky enough to have the complete series collection :-) Need to pick up the latest seasons GOU and SOTSU when they finally combine them (hopefully).

LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS is glorious, but I was never in a thousand years expecting to see Marc Laidlaw's 400 BOYS (from Mirrorshades) animated... a short story that's been itching at the back of my mind for forty years. A perfect blend of punk, music, gore, and surrealism.

LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS is glorious, but I was never in a thousand years expecting to see Marc Laidlaw's 400 BOYS (from Mirrorshades) animated... a short story that's been itching at the back of my mind for forty years. A perfect blend of punk, music, gore, and surrealism.
Rereading James Herbert's THE RATS and realizing I may have been a little too young for reading this at age 11... how did I forget the baby? 😐 Ah well, formative years, am I right?

Received my copy of #LastSabbath - The Witches' RPG yesterday. Little damaged because the mail decided to just fold the package and stuff it in my mailbox. But, this thing remains a work of art... looking forward to delving into it deeper and playing with the #tarot.

After how many years, I've finally started watching STRANGER THINGS. While the show is pretty cool, it's the nostalgia that's getting me. That was my generation, my town, my arcade, my music, my rpgs... just drinking it all in. Already pausing S2, E1 so I can get my Oingo Boingo CDs out XD

My god, they did the impossible... they actually pulled off Death: The High Cost of Living. I'm just sitting here gobsmacked. Kirby Howell-Baptiste is a freakin' revelation. Time to break out my copies from 93' and read (and cry to) them again.

I've seen bad horror movies before... so I had low expectations for UNTIL DAWN, but, dear lord, I never believed things could be ~that~ terrible. Intensely dull, profoundly stupid, and devout of any tension. Felt like AI writing, turning the franchise's actual good parts into an incoherent smoothie.

I nearly made it through without bawling until they hit me with this... don't know if it was intentional or zeitgeist, but it instantly reminded me of the Everdoor in Spiritfarer.

Okay, I think I'm formally hooked on South Korean crime dramas... although, by the final episode, I kept wondering how a human body could function while bleeding from that many holes 🤔

Finished a short Urban Shadows campaign (friend surprised me with a @magpiegames.bsky.social Curated Play for my birthday). Despite some crunchiness in the rules, it was an absolute blast overall. Quite enjoyed playing a retired (Veteran), goth Baba Yaga, trying to find true love with the dragon.
