“Out of Time” from the second season of Heroes. One of the main characters leaves the woman who nursed him back to health and he was in a relationship with in the future. He than prevents that future from ever occuring and never mentions her again

Oh yeah. At our neighbor’s forth of July party this year they let their three dogs out into the yard. The lab made a beeline for the grill, the Australian Shepard mix went over to the kids and their golden just started chasing his own tail in a circle

Hmm. Dollhouse and the Peripheral could suit. Mr. Robot is great on the principles underlaying cyberpunk but doesn’t have the advanced technology. Altered Carbon could be an edge case.
