It never gets old seeing the beautiful colors come alive underneath 100 years of grime, smoke, and aged linseed oil. Magically seeing what the artist intended for it to look like. This is just a portion of the painting, and it’s easy to see where we’ve cleaned. We have a long way to go with it yet.

Last Fall a mason bee laid her eggs in some round tubelike screw holes in my retractable hose in my greenhouse. Today they hatched <3 during the process, one of the bees was learning how to buzz.

I’ve been painting postcards to send to random FWS stations. Last week was fish postcards this week is birds. There are about 10. Channeling my inner do-gooder!
