I always knew that Nintendo were allergic to patch notes but this is getting awfully silly and looks lazy. If bugs were fixed just say that! But “improvements” imply things that directly impact my experience, like new or enhanced features, so I sort of expect to know what was improved.

I'm finding that I really like and even prefer procedural textures. Using just procedural noise I created a pretty good looking drop ceiling tile material (the squares are also generated from a noise texture). Downside is Godot doesn't like to layer materials well, but I'm learning to work with it.

I suck at making textures, so I'm trying procedural ways of doing things in #Godot. From first to last: pool/bathroom tiles, weathered paint with metal surface showing through, and weathered paint with pitted and rusted metal. All done with standard material settings and built-in noise textures.

I think my cat is part Saint Bernard. Jumped up on my bed as I was getting up because it was breakfast time and he was being all lovey-dovey to get me to come feed him. Proceeds to shake his head and sprays drool all over me. >.<

A year ago I found an apple seed that had started to sprout inside of an apple. I guess it really wanted to grow so I planted it, and it went from a seed to sprout in about two weeks. Today it's still growing and when the Spring season hit this year it really took off.

There's this simple pixel font I created 20 years ago (I wish I hadn't looked at the date I made this because...ouch). I'd started making one some time last year based on my own handwriting, but I can't find the stupid project file.

If you have an Amazon Alexa device, be aware that on March 28 they're removing the opt-out for sending your voice commands to them. Everything you say will be sent to their servers because of their AI shit. They also say they'll delete the recording immediately after processing. But, ya know...

I ran some tests. The permissions for “Use External Apps” can be denied and the users can still see and use the AI apps in question, but the results will only be visible to them and no one else. It’s still really shitty they’re allowing users to feed stuff into AI dumpsters regardless.

I was watching a public senate hearing for WA state bills and this Wish-dot-com Colonel Sanders fuckstick said that a bill for gender inclusivity in schools would "allow males into women's bathrooms". Fuck off outta here with that horseshit right-wing rhetoric you prick.
