Thinking of my parents today and all of their political work they did. Thanks Papa and Mama for showing me that when the people come together change can happen. The work still needs to be done but I am carrying you in my heart today.

The world is too much today so here’s a moment of calm. We stopped for a wiggle break for our dogs yesterday while on a road trip and found this sweet spot along a river. Does it fix everything? It did for a few minutes.

Went to my happy place today, just walking a back road in the woods. Blue skies, snow, my Mr and two dogs that love the snow as much as we do. Filled my cup back up so the resistance can continue.

I will not let them overwhelm me! This morning I chose action to help others in my community over letting myself get dragged down by the world.
