I was not expecting this to be quite so food centric. Absolutely loving it so far.
The paperback cover of the book "Taiwan Travelogue" by Yáng Shuāng-Zi and translated by Lin King. The title is at the top and the names of author and translator at the bottom. The bulk and the centre of the cover is taken up with a design. Four oblongs with rounded corners (like a train window) are layered with each one smaller than the next. It's hard to make out what fills the shapes but one is a black and white photo of a street. The central oblong is divided like a train window that can be opened at the top. A bowl sits in the bottom of the window above which is written "A novel".

First time using the new camera for sport. a 12 shot per second bust is lovely but creates so many pictures to review. Maybe I should turn it down to the more familiar 5.5.

So, I had been thinking that the new 7 racing jersey looked pretty smart. And actually I do think it's pretty smart. But it's not very smart to your logos where your numbers are supposed to go. You can see here that they've had to be put under the armpit so they don't go over a maap or a 7.

A concrete building. The lower parts appear to be pillars supporting the bulk of the structure. There are then a couple of floors of narrow windows. From there each of the next three floors are slightly larger, overhanging what's below. It's brutal, it's a fortress, but it's also floating above the street.
