I’m sorry but this is illogical. Where are these candidates going to come from? Why is a national party structure going to start helping candidates that cater to a group of nonvoters? Do these candidates exist in any form? If so and their policies are so strong why are they not attracting votes?

It leads to it every time voting turnout is depressed. It is a truism that low turnout favors the GOP.

There are a shit ton of people suffering in a much worse way right now under Trump that don’t appreciate the hand waive of the material difference under Democratic leadership as compared to the GOP. Maybe your life has been spared suffering under Trump but my loved ones & neighbors are suffering

2025 is not like 2021-2024. It’s materially worse in every respect other than if you are extremely wealthy and benefit from tax breaks.

Our healthcare system is a disaster in addition to being expensive. Every other industrialized nation has figured it out. We are beholden to corrupt campaign finance. The first thing we need to do is legislate overturning Citizens United

If people would get out and vote in midterms when we have a D president to keep control of Congress then that is an actual mandate and platform for real reform and change

Those things were unequivocally BETTER under Democrats and with prospect to continue to improve if/when control of executive and legislative branches for a meaningful period. 2years of *partial* control of Congress and then losing both houses will never be enough time to make needed improvements
