Yeah, the MLK who was so aware that violence was necessary that his house was referred to as an "Armoury" and who, towards the end of his life, was more and more radical in political thought that they killed him for it. Yeah, learn some actual history before invoking civil rights icons' names.

When your ideological enemy wants to literally kill or enslave everyone they have deemed less than, having empathy is a disadvantage. Like a traditional army fighting against a guerilla force, you will lose. I dont like it, but it is the harsh reality for the political left.

People don't inherently "deserve" to be shot, but to act like his real-world impact on US politics was not killing people and how that intersects with a sense of cosmic justice is naive. There is no shame in accepting and taking solace in the fact he will no longer be around to hurt more people.

Yes? I think a closer comparison might be, Doom is to Warhammer 40k as Pokémon is to Magic the Gathering? I feel like Doom is mostly aestetics and light on lore or mechanics compared to the outright nightmare that mtg can be. Not to mention the cost ramp is similar in scale I'd say. 🤔

Unlikely as all hell but it's the only way I can see this ending in any other way than near economic collapse. It's going to be rough if they stay this course and I have no faith that nothing but the worst will come of it but I wanted to put out the alternative for posterity sake.
