Wow! 🤩 What an insightful and fascinating book! I love the voice and style in which it was written. Even if you’re a techno-n00b like me, this really is a book for everyone to pick up and enjoy ☺️

Thanks to NetGallery for early reading! ❤️

A delightfully cosy novel, perfect for fans of Agatha Christie & Christmas. 🎄The game of Cluedo from its humble beginnings, and how the original inventors encountered their own murder mystery before it inspired the beloved board game.🎲

Penguin x Waterstones: 100th Clothbound Celebration

What an incredible panel, I have come away feeling so awed by the brilliant Coralie Bickford-Smith. Plus, she was super kind to sign our books on a hand-made bookplate! How cool is that

Here’s a fantastic collection of poetry I picked up today called ‘Flatrock.’

It proves that poems are as relevant today as ever. A hard-hitting raw collection by the brilliant Fran Lock. I highly recommend!

Oh boy! Bookfest 2025 at Waterstones Piccadilly was wild. Not in a fun way, but a sweaty, over-crowded & suffocating kind of way. Feel sorry for all involved, including staff who had a day of chaos. 😳🤯😭

Thanks to NetGallery, I had the privilege of reading The Murder at World’s End by Ross Montgomery, expected publication Oct ‘25.

I howled with laughter! It was brilliant! Cosy old-timey murder mysteries are my weakness, and I wish this story every success! Go check it out and pre-order now! ❤️

Had the pleasure of seeing Philip Pullman at the Royal Geographical Society, hosted by Waterstones.

His editor David Fickling joined him, and it was hosted by the brilliant Jane Trenter who did a marvellous job. It has changed my life and I feel so inspired. I hope they release the recording. ✨

Alice with a Why by Anna James

⭐️ Overview: 🦇
A delightful book that will please the new generation, and hopefully convince them to read the original too. This is a very sweet and light-hearted story, with lots of tongue-twisters and play on familiar phrases, such as ‘for the Time Being.’ 🐈🎩 ☕️
