They're also not successful enough with their current systems to keep them living any longer than seven years. Even the PS2 had just six years in the sun. Though you might rightly argue that the PS3 was released too early.

The previous gen will have been and gone with fuck all having happened.

This generation, at least throughout the years the PS5 has been a thing has been an anomaly compared to previous generations.

And as such they really shouldn't be considering releasing a new console then and should skip past 5-7 more years in the future.

For the first time ever, I'm not even remotely excited for the future of gaming. We're at the point now where games aren't gonna look, feel, or play any better than now. Please. No more.

if the switch 1 still gets games then its basically 4

Ps4 will be the new ps2 in there being 3 gens of games releasing

PS6 better be backwards compatible with PS4, since games are still gonna be made for it then
