Isn’t it obvious trump is showing his adulation and emulation of his buddy Putin by trying to take over a country? Greenland and Canada will be Putin’s Ukraine if this madness continues.

Such simpleton, repetitive language from our president is embarrassing.

What an utter, abhorrent embarrassment this administration is for our country. I’m ashamed that almost half this country thought it was a better choice.

Monsters is as good a word as any to describe the GOP after Sandy Hook. It’s when it became crystal clear to me that party would never be true advocates for children or sensible gun safety. I always thought what if it was their kids that got slaughtered would’ve made a difference??

Joe, of course you’re right. But get real. Cowards don’t do the right thing and Trump will not fire his hand-picked Loyalists. He wants his ass kissed no matter the cost. Next option?

Been saying that since it happened. My faith in the electorate nearly evaporated after GW Bush but has totally disappeared now. Just our time again to mourn and lament but persevere. Just like life.

..The hope is to win Congress in two years and resiliently roadblock the power grab that is sure to happen and restore rightful checks and balances. Explain to me a better way.

Right. Life goes on. Button down the hatches and persevere. Take this lyric from a hit song in the 60’s by the Youngbloods - “we are just a moment’s sunlight fading in the grass” and realize our time is short to fulfill our lives with enjoyment.

Had a coveted job of sponging off chalkboards in 4th grade towards the end of the school day and left a buoyant cheerful class to get the bucket of water and came back to a deathly silent, somewhat sniffling class wondering what the heck had just happened to spoil my day.

Like your style. Give me a diner or deli any day.

I have to be honest with you, Joe, that I’ve watched your media posts over the last few years to see if you have really changed. I admit I didn’t like the old Joe but have been impressed with your backbone and, more importantly, your love of country and constitutionality no matter the party. Bravo

You can’t go wrong with some film noir. My go to is some Bogie in The Maltese Falcon.
