Yesterday we had the privilege of co-hosting (with Gramercy Books) a conversation between Minor Leader of the House Hakeem Jeffries and Professor Hasan Jeffries at the Ohio Union. It was a full house as Jeffries spoke about his children's book, "The ABCs of Democracy," and his life in politics.

On October 19th Prof. Margaret Newell spoke at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center in Mashantucket, CT. The subject matter of her talk was northeastern woodland indigenous people’s experiences of enslavement, displacement, and collegiate institution’s role in the legacy of slavery.
