What if, in the end, they have so dehumanized everyone else who doesn't fit their categories that they are the only ones left standing. And what if they look around and are all alone?

What if they begin to narrow their circles until no one can actually be a part anymore? What if it begins with a desire to exclude on the basis of doctrine, but then extends to culture and customs, and then to ethnicity and gender?
