Honest question: If Republicans are serious about cutting wasteful spending and being fiscally responsible, why is their first fight to raise the debt limit with a bloated defense budget and add to our national debt?

Republicans are so accustomed to whining from the minority that when they’re actually in the majority and still can’t manage to pass a bill, their automatic reflex is to blame the Democrats.

Republicans wanted the majority. They got it. Learn how to fucking govern.

Just so we’re clear what just happened:

Republicans tore apart their funding agreement with Democrats after Elon Musk told them to.

They created a new bill that defunded child cancer research.

And then they failed to pass that bill too.

I would be surprised if the government didn't shut down.

It's the only way to find out what services people didn't know they were missing.

Those are the ones Elon will say " see, no one noticed you were closed. Goodbye "
