This post was incorrect. Ben Marcus is not Ben Lerner, and both of them have written an introduction to a book I have liked. Also they are both literary white men I have read books from. This combination of qualities made them form a sort of omniBen in my mind, with the qualities ascribed to both.

As a wind player, they absolutely are. I'd love one of the Uebel aluminum cigar flutes. Looks great, sounds great.

The estimates seem very low for the alto and bass flutes particularly. I can hardly get a decent C flute for what they're estimating.
