No vertex coloring or gouraud shading... vertex coloring in blender is a little inconvenient but a lot of things are. Gouraud shading though, I think I need to write a python plugin for that. scary

A model of Angela, who I can best describe as sort of snowman-like in shape. She has a giant gold collar-like thing around her neck. Her lower body is a gold ball, with a little red and gold capelet and a simple lace dress. Her face is white and she has blue eyes, and her expression here is bothered with a scrunched-up face. Her ears are very large gold and black triangles, with a little hook in the middle. She is carrying a small red coin purse, too. Same model as before but her head is tilted up and to the side, and she looks a bit thoughtful while still being serious. Maybe worried? Neutral expression, with a more overhead angle. You can see the back half of her head is all black and shiny. Angela's mouth isn't in view.

thought about putting a drop of blood on the ace of spades, but getting a red seal is more interesting than having every ace of spades be THE ace of spades, and other reasons. also, here is an 8x upscaled version, if the original is too artifacted to work with. i wish bluesky was kind to pngs

i've had these ace attorney 4 balatro cards done for months but never posted them... i put a lot of thought into which characters go where, and tried to make each suit keep to some sort of visual motif. feel free to use them
AA4 card deck on a green background. In order of jack to queen to king, hearts are Vera, Ema, and Apollo. Clubs are Brushel, Klavier, and Kristoph. Diamonds are Lamiroir, Trucy, and Phoenix. Spades are Valant, Zak, and Magnifi. Same as the previous image, but placed on top of the Balatro card template as they would be in-game.

unfortunately my painting needs work. It originally had writing but it bled everywhere (wet) so i just turned it into a gradient for fun. it looked this gray and sloppy to begin with, my skills with a brush are just severely lacking, i promise the dye took perfectly....

Oven test: 15 minutes at 200 F (my oven ranges to ~25° higher than set temp) Rit DyeMore as a paint.... i lack a sublimation printer/press so this is the next best thing.

Test 2 sandwiched in baking trays, test 1 on top. needs more time, and more heat. Picture 2 is only after washing
Two pieces of polyester satin fabric sitting on a paper towel. There are painted markings for the fabric's bias as well as circles, dashes, and writing. The colors used are red and black. Both pieces are dry. The two scrap papers have been washed. Test 1 on the left, which was sitting on top of the baking trays, is more faded than Test 2, which was squished like in a heat press. The black has faded to a pale olive color, and the red is a very light pink. Neither are very visible but there are still results.

I finally baked my polymer clay... my phone camera is not very good but this is my favorite piece. it's only 2 cm big, no sanding or glazing or anything special
Swirly gold fossil-looking spiral with a slight opening at the end. Made of polymer clay. The same swirly fossil thing at a different angle. It has sparkly lines from being twirled, since it's a clay with mica powder in it.

C Primer Plus (by The Waite Group) revised edition, 1987-1989

Generation 2 Pokemon style sprites of Braixen, Cherrim (bud form), Clawitzer, Gliscor, Koraidon, Lileep (in two styles), Nihilego, Scolipede, and Whirlipede. They also all have shiny colors, except for the second style Lileep. The first Lileep are more monochrome like some GS sprites with a solid color for the body and yellow rings, and the second style is more Crystal-esque in color with distinction between the purple body and pink "petals". Screenshot taken in my Win95 styled file manager because I didn't feel like arranging them because i am lazy.

I HAVE SOMETHING FINALLY TRULY NICE TO SAY ABOUT ASEPRITE there is now a setting to easily change the UI font to whatever you want AND it has toggleable aliasing. I can finally read the ui (MS Sans Serif in this screenshot)

I use aseprite really like it's ms paint. i paste a bunch of crap in there or doodle on it and deal with it later. I think the animation tools are decent though. Uhhhhhh,

grafx2 is like dpaint but clunkier and with way less options BUT it has modern os functionality like the clipboard and also better exports. it's actually a spiritual successor to dpaint and declares that every time you start it up. fun stuff

Hard mode variant of Skinny Ricky in Katana Zero dressed very similarly to Teddy from Mother 1, with rockin' red shades.
