Re my above post, be sure that I am not suggesting flying the white flag. Rather, I suggest we commit ourselves to fight ever harder. We have seen successes already and know that the power of the purse can bring CBS to its knees. Let advertisers know you will boycott their products, then do it.

CBS is now a propaganda arm of the authoritarian government. I will always be wary of what they produce. I would say "shame on you", but as they have gone all in as propagandists, they wouldn't care what any of us has to say.

Critical we do no victory laps. Such turns are cyclical; not evidence of voters liking Dems--look at current Dems approval ratings (18%). We MUST learn how to really reach people and mean it-not just curry favor only for votes every few years. Mamdani did it with truth and hard work. It is possible.

Hope all receive the full measure of justice commensurate with their sins against humanity. I wonder what that would look like... For starters, the complicity in defunding USAID alone has killed tens of thousands. Perhaps it will matter in their ultimate judgement. Hell will need a new wing.

I never understood the reverence for Reagan. The man opened the door to stealing from the poor to give to the rich through that trickle down economics bull shit. It has been going on ever since as the re-distribution of wealth has been continuing ever since.

The guy was, is, and always will be a liar. For my part, I will not vote for an R in any election. He has destroyed that party and they have joined him in lock-step. They can change it up if they wish, and I hope they are able to learn that he cares nothing for any of them. They are all just tools.

Point well taken. I do however trust my instincts. The longer you know someone the greater the likelihood they will reveal who they are. All of us present a social face but the truth will out under the right circumstances. I am not implying that I am not flawed. I know I am.

I thank God and my parents that I have never known people like this. To think that these people dare to even pretend that they are Christians. Any Christian who thinks they are needs to do a deep search of their conscience, pray for forgiveness, light a candle and get to work on the New Testament.
