I have been working through this-it’s amazing what you can find at your local hardware and craft stores, even grocery. I started by looking up the item on amazon, then going directly to the company’s page and ordering the item.

I don’t blame you for that. I wouldn’t travel to a place that feels unsafe either. But know there are many working for the better too.

We are seeing a huge influx of conservative “political refugees” from other liberal states. Idaho is not the same state I grew up in and I’m staying here to fight for democracy in my state and community. Young families leave bc they can’t have children and afford to raise them here.

I guess they’re going to have to fix the healthcare system so people can actually have families. You know, just so the men feel better. ;)

I have spent so much professional development time discussing safety and drills. Back-to-school training a few years ago included Stop The Bleed training. I’ve been taught how to place a tourniquet and triage a shooting scene. You, know in case a kid gets injured on the playground.

So so so many of us quiet-people pleasing former kids are looking at this generation and wondering what we would have been diagnosed as. Some could really have used the intervention and support.

That’s ok. There are a lot of small annoying items for sale in a store like that. I hope they’re all using like 20$ bills too.
