Watched all 3 extended LotR movies instead of inaug coverage; went for walk and couldn’t stop seeing the Bay Area as an inside-of-book-jacket fantasy map.
I’m working, a sliver at a time, toward hiking every trail on Mt Tamalpais. Not pictured: an osprey on a snag, a wide assortment of ducks, a great horned owl on a wire, and a giant flock of turkeys, startled by a passing jogger and german shepherd, flying up into the redwood branches to roost.

My mom’s been stuck about making a go-bag so I thought I’d extend this offer. A small co-regulatory plan to face the increasing likelihood of fire (or other finger of climate change) relocating us one of these times. Maybe someone you know could use this kind of support?
