Next week the TX State Board of Education will vote on 6 new charter school applicants - despite 30 yrs of data showing that Texas families have paid a steep price for an inefficient second education system. Check out bit.ly/OurSchoolsSBOE to contact your SBOE member.

Also under HB 2, charters STILL wouldn't be required to hire certified teachers! We know that a well trained teacher improves student outcomes - so why aren't charter schools held to the same standard?
