-Which was strange since he’s mostly dispatched as a villain of the week when all is said and done. This problem is common for Batman though, and it’s rare to get a Killer Croc focused book so I’ll take it. Overall a short and sweet read, easy to recommend for anyone who wants to read Robin.

It becomes a really compelling 3 character drama between them, and it serves as a great retelling of Batman & Robin’s early struggles and their ultimate need for each other as a father/son over that of superhero/sidekick. Also gives a surprisingly sympathetic angle to Croc before he gets defeated???
