This entire series is delightful. The author really knows and loves the Arthurian legends.

I make purchases in that nonfiction area for my library and I’ve ordered it! Can’t wait to not see it on the shelf because it’s checked out!

Having a normal one in Kansas I see.

They have a billboard that says “We’re the number 2 attraction in Missouri!”. I am 48 years old and nearly crashed the car laughing.

And if he did show up and start taking some kind of advisory role people would lose their minds and say he’s serving as a third term president.

Because when most of them do it won’t be because they suddenly had an epiphany about the intrinsic dignity of all humans, even the ones who don’t look or worship as they do. It will be because their benefits were cut or they got laid off and now they’re all mad.

I loved Prairie Fires!

I loved that book!

These fit that description for me. I knew nothing about Garfield and the author kept characters and events unique and memorable so I could keep up. American Chestnut was great for me as a non-science minded person. The science was explained so I could understand it and it is written like fiction.

I get it. I don’t think any of us will be better off frowning and grumpy every moment and it’s not good for your kid to be a grumpy dad but it does feel weird in a way to celebrate…anything. For what it’s worth I look forward to your humor!

Preferably a long-tenured one with a lot of influence.
