It's surreal visuals and soundtrack take it to another level, surpassing it's origins without being embarrassed of them. Essential anti-fa&cist viewing especially as an alternative to the Starred Wars. Highly recommended. 3.5/4 stars. (2/2)

Flash Gordon (1980). Watched this for the first time today in glorious 4K. This hits so hard in 2025. It actually made me surprisingly emotional. The fact that Flash's power comes more from his ability to teach cooperation and ally-ship than his physical prowess genuinely surprised me. (1/2)

This one's a lot of fun. Some great early action work. Nearly as good as her better known stuff like Yes Madam and Police Story 3.

Had a movie night at my place recently and this was a huge hit! We followed it up with Nemesis. Highly recommend if you've never seen it. Haven't checked if it even has a rotten Tomatoes score.

Yeah this is an especially heinous example considering this is my dvd set sitting right next to it. I actually stuck the 4k in the previous blu ray release case. I should just stick all the 4ks in this box instead.
