Sunlanding ATGM Carrier. While their Colonial pattern tanks represent the apex of their forces, much of the SDF uses light, dependable 6x6 vehicles for all manner of roles, from logistics to tank hunting.

Sunlanding Air Defence Vehicles, pushing into the waxwoods on the province's border. A breach from the Knonist River Company will be heralded by their orange patrol aircraft - the SDF hopes to meet them and blunt any effort at intelligence gathering.

Colonial pattern armour, ubiquitous across the continent as the primary fighting vehicle of the Royal Army. With crown control fractured after a vicious (but ultimately unsuccessful) rebellion, examples of the Colonial find itself in all sorts of hands. In this case, the city state of Sunlanding.

A quartet of Trikorne rebakes of domestic Free Zakean frames. Trikorne's own mech forces were all but destoyed in a devastating orbital combat with the mercenary outfit 'Sorcerer'. Most of their forces have joined with Free Zakea to provide military experience and advanced technology.

We're posting here again.

Veroc NEXT Flight Type - a next generation machine being rolled out to modern militaries across Marak. Free Zakea has acquired print licencing for one at great expense to arm the offworld mercenary En Keverik to bolster their inexperienced forces.

On-Argent Terestrial Service trooper, backbone of the OTS' military and security wing and a common sight across the many worlds and stations the corporation operated in. Equipped with high-tech gear typical of the corporation, OTS troopers are as much an advertisement as a military force.

House of Anhur infantryman. The follow-up to Anhurian armoured spearheads, infantry rush into broken lines with a rythmitic chanting, interspered with ragged shouts as combat stimulants rush through their system, rendering them almost fearless as they shoot and hack thier way through their foes.

S-11 Rebel gunship, the 'Tresspasser'. An older rotary wing design taken from colonial caches either directly or through spacer merchants. The large laser unit on the right side is a new addition to help the machine keep up in modern battlefields, but the extra weight makes it rather sluggish.

Monarchist Scorpion gunship in parade livery. The largest and heaviest mass production gunship operating on Sond, it pairs high thrust with a robust defense combining a PD laser and thick armour plating. A massive hangar queen, the scorpion is nevertheless formidable when its able to get airborne.

'Lockpicker' Hardsuit. Supposedly a revoloution in infantry combat, initial performance was horrendously poor, with pilots suffering dizziness, migraines and nasuea due to the unmatured brain-reader system. While the kinks were eventually worked out, lockpickers retain their poor reputation

GMS Sagarmatha, Red-Fort variant. A garrison unit stationed on the planet Eye Burn and scheduled to be replaced by the more modern GMS Everest. Replacement was halted by increased aggression from the Solar Warriors and the mechs were pressed back into service, mostly reinforcing fortified positions.

Vagabond MBT and Snowcrawler of infamous mercenary Edward South. Previously fighting under the Royal Sond Army, he turned coat and built a reputation fighting first from his stolen tank, and later, the four-tracked laser carrier. He's currently operating in Sond's north pole.

Quickie of some CRM snow-dopes trudging through a snowstorm, mostly as a show of force to the sparse pirate elements operating this far north to send them back into hiding, enabling the north pole watchpoint to undertake new weapon tests in peace.

Hobforeman Skubbs, a hobgoblin mercenary now serving after falling to a holy warrior's blade. While his body is gone, necromantic magics have preserved his voice, which he uses to shout lesser minions into doing menial tasks beneath his necromancer lord's notice.

Heavy Aquatic Mech, modified for land use with an expansive cooling system to replace the original's seawater cooled system which greatly limited out-of-water operating time. Although a bit outdated on the modern battlefield, their thick armour still performs well.

Sorry about the lack of art here, been under the weather lately!

This is the Dromedary, so named because of its 'hump' on the upper side containing a laser anti-munition system. Older models of the Dromedary had a much larger LAMS dome which really cemented the name.

'Rookie', an infantryman of the Crown Reconstruction Movement on his first day in the north pole. Say hi!
October 22, 2023 at 10:01 AM
Medium infantry of the Crown Reconstruction Movement, wearing bulky cold weather gear for posting to the north pole. Despite its bulk, cold weather gear was designed for the slightly warmer subarctic regions, and troops further north spend much of their time cooped up in barracks and guardhouses

Iteration on the Fairy light mech, working on making it a bit less soft looking, and rather more threatening, to help sell the idea of it being a strange off-world design. The more distinctive elements of the design (big dome, wings, leg thrusters) have been preserved.

A pair of fairy light mechs in high speed mode, blasting over the ground at low altitude on a tank hunting mission. Low flying is a vital skill when it comes to piloting fairies and similar small hovering vehicles as ascending too high makes one a clear target for enemy gunfire.
October 12, 2023 at 5:01 AM
'Fairy' Spacer-developed light mech. Favoured by mercenaries operating planet-side, and by pirates operating in space who require better muscle than space-borne infantry. Its an exotic machine, capable of changing into a squat ground effect vehicle for high-speed overland movement.

Skeeth the Vile, a skilled rat-man warrior who thinks himself unassailable on the battlefield. Off the battlefield is a different matter, and he's developed an all-consuming paranoia, constantly second guessing his 'allies' and underlings, fearing they may poison him or stab him in the back.
