This is the best book I've read this year. A young Iranian American trying to make sense of his life and coming to terms with his mother dying from the US shooting down of the Iranian airliner.

A wonderful love story as it navigates the tumult of the 60s. As wild as this time was, when I look back with this book, at least there were adults in charge. Not the clown show we have now. Beautifully written
