@whitequark I’ve also used Mini XLR in the past. They can be screwed or latching, and it’s very satisfying.

@whitequark I just had to find a similar kind of connector, and I settled on Molex Micro-Fit.

After further investigation, I settled on the Molex Micro-Fit (which seems identical to the TE Connectivity Micro MATE-N-LOK.) Small footprint, panel mount, doesn’t protrude as much as I thought.
