I think it was the timing. It came out during the nomination voting period. A lot of voters had probably already voted or hadn't seen it by the time they had to turn in their ballots.

I saw Dahomey a couple of nights ago. It's interesting, almost experimental. Might be too out there for the Academy, but I can see it doing well with the IDA.
