Kicking off a new project. This time, I will focus on iOS, ASO, and do a single feature as well as possible.

The moment you realize that publishing an app is JUST THE BEGINNING.
Now you have to sell it.

And, Claude also displays that it is 3.5 instead of 4 🤔

Checking out the new Xcode beta with ChatGPT-5. But just like at launch, the first reply displays it is 4, not 5.

Your vibe-coded app with ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, and DeepSeek without ever reviewing the generated code.

A bit frustrating to get a one-star rating without any feedback on what needs to be improved. Anyway, this is a long run, and I just need to keep working on improving it. How do you handle this situation?

🚀 Excited to share something I’ve been working on:

NSBuddy is live! 👨🏻‍💻

It helps you stay productive by automating the boring stuff 👇

It was super easy to integrate a feedback system in my app thanks to Votice. Since NSBuddy is an app for Apple developers, knowing their needs is key for me. Now I have very valuable information to improve my app

Second week in a row without Formula 1
August 16, 2025 at 12:29 PM
The week is ending, and I’m still working on NSBuddy. This time, I wanted to improve some UI/UX details based on the feedback I’ve been receiving. New version submitted.
I hope you can see the new stuff on the App Store soon.

Finally, I updated the icon for NSBuddy. Although Apple recommends uploading a square icon, it doesn’t work on macOS Sequoia… so sometimes you just have to listen to your friends 😉

Working so that my app, NSBuddy, appears alongside other essential developer tools on the Mac App Store… but without complaining.

The #Shipaton continues. New update for NSBuddy. I’m reorganizing the main view — I think it looks cleaner with a NavigationSplitView showing 2 panels for category and tools, instead of 3 like before.

Another day working with NSBuddy for the #Shipaton.
With the rise in AI usage, it’s great to have a prompt library that can sync across devices. Easy to set dynamic values before copying.
Soon, I'll add rules and agents.

Another day working on NSBuddy, another day building features for the #Shipaton.
Now, you can navigate to Apple Design Resources and design apps accurately and quickly using official Apple design templates, icon production templates, color guides, and more.

TIL
Although Apple recommends in the guidelines to upload a square icon, it doesn't apply to rounded corners in macOS Sequoia. Fortunately, this is fixed in Tahoe. #iOSDev #macOSDev

The good thing about using an app from an #IndieDev: You can report bugs or suggest new features, and get them fixed by the next morning. Now it’s time to wait for Apple’s review and start working on the new suggestions.

After a few days traveling with the family, it’s time to get back to work on NSBuddy. Time to focus on fixes. It’s great to have friends who test your apps and share their feedback 😉
