I didn’t want to show the #Neovim tabline. I had removed the barbar plugin, but the tabline was still there. I thought another plugin (like winbar or lualine) might be responsible, but in the end it turned out to be much simpler than that:

Spent almost the whole summer away from the keyb. Thought it would recharge me, it didn’t. The few times I had to log in it felt wrong: anxiety, palpitations... maybe romance is over… or maybe it’s just the bad times before vacation still present and I need to give it more time to feel joy again.

Hoy me han invitado a una cena de un antiguo podcast de videojuegos en el que colaboré.
No encajo demasiado porque soy -con una diferencia abismal- el menos entendido y metido en materia.
Y solo me paso a decir que me lo he pasado como un enano. Agradecer este tipo de invitaciones es poco.

I’ve made the “hands” modular. There are a few more improvements to come. My initial idea was to explore the possibility of using different materials or colors for the hands. I’m continuing to iterate on this concept.

I’m glad my new bathroom doesn’t —afaik— have anything that does tracking, I’m sure it would do the #wrapped thing:
- Total time spent: 72 hours.
- Most played song in the shower: [Insert].
- Most used product: Anti-hair-loss shampoo.
- Average nighttime visits: 1.5 times per week.

It's actually insane how much Engineering Effort was spent purely to remedy the fact that JavaScript is a Toy Scripting Language and not on Solving Actual Problems.

My Aluminum Slab
At the 11th hour before a long vacation, I decided not to bring my 16” MacBook Pro but instead an 11” iPad Pro (M4) with Magic Keyboard. This was mainly to lessen the load of stuff I was bringing. After all, the point of this vacation was to get away from normal day-to-day life. The iPad has always been a secondary device for me, so this was an interesting experience having the iPad be my computer (or, as I call it, big iPhone). Before this 11” iPad, I had a 13” iPad. That was a bit of a misjudgment on my part. Having two large-screen devices doesn’t add to my flexibility; it just means I have a choice between a large-screen Mac that does everything the way I want and a large-screen iPad that mostly1 does everything with more effort and usually different tools. Guess which one was always sitting in a drawer with a dead battery and hardly used? Hint: it was the 13” iPad.
