I must say this game still handles like a dream. I don't know how I manage to be so surprised by this discovery every time I replay it, but alas, I am. At the end of the day, I think a lot of this comes down to certain art design choices that I think Halo Studios just do not understand. They seem to have this idea that Halo should look, in a way I can only describe as 'plasticky' or 'toy-like', but I never got that impression playing this game[3/4]

With recent talks of a Halo: CE remake, along with the Unreal Engine 5 footage shown off by Halo Studios, formerly known as 343 Industries, I remain doubtful that my itch will ever be scratched. [2/3]
